Great Britain: Smoked Salmon Due to Listeria Contamination

Loch Duart Artisan Smokehouse is recalling a certain batch code of Loch Duart Artisan Smokehouse Oak Smoked Salmon due to detection of Listeria monocytogenes which may pose a risk to health. Listeria monocytogenes can cause illness in certain groups of people, such as pregnant women, unborn and newborn babies, and anyone with reduced immunity, particularly the over-60s.
The Batch code is 31072. The Salmon was packed in 125g; 200g; 250g Trimmings and  800-1200 g Unsliced Sides. It was date codes were between 28 August 2013 and 9 September 2013
Loch Duart Artisan Smokehouse is recalling the above product. Product recall notices have been supplied to retailers to be displayed in store, advising consumers of the recall and what they can do if they have purchased the affected product. No other Loch Duart Artisan Smokehouse products are known to be affected.
If you have bought this product, with the batch code 31072, please do not eat it. Instead, return it to  the store it was purchased from or contact Loch Duart Artisan Smokehouse.
