Australia: Cheese Recalled Due to Listeria

Village Paneer Cheese.jpgIndya cheese.jpgVillage Paneer and Indya Paneer Cheese in various weights up to 550g with a Best Before 30 JUL 14 date has been recalled. The recall is due to Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
Listeria monocytogenes may cause illness in pregnant women and their unborn babies, the elderly and people with low immune systems.
The product was sold in Victoria by Indian specialty stores The supplier was Omar Cheese Pty Ltd
Consumers should not eat this product. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice and should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.
