Great Britain and Ireland: Plum Baby Food Recalled

Plum Baby Foods recalls New Plum Stage 1 Baby Food Pouches due to manufacturing defect and food spoilage. A small number of pouches of ready-to-eat baby food products have a manufacturing defect which may cause food spoilage. As a precautionary measure, Plum Baby Foods is recalling the batches of the products affected.

  • Courgette, Banana & Amaranth, 100g
  • Mango & Carrot Greek Style Yogurt, 85g
  • Raspberry & Spinach Greek Style Yogurt, 85g
  • Kale & Apple Greek Style Yogurt, 85g
Date code
'Best before' end: all date codes up until and including 2 October 2014
Plum Baby
These products were launched on 4 November 2013 and recalled on 8 November 2013, and were only sold via Tesco stores.
Plum Baby Foods is recalling the affected products from consumers. Product recall notices will be displayed in stores from Tuesday 12 November 2013, and the barcode of the affected products has been blocked. Customers will also be contacted via Plum website, Plum emails, Twitter and Facebook, explaining the reason for recall and the actions they can take if they have bought the affected product(s).
No other Plum Baby Food products are known to be affected.
