Great Britain: Twenty Two Types of Frozen Fish Recalled

United Cater Ltd recalls all date codes of a number of frozen fish products produced in an unapproved establishment.The products were produced in unapproved premises and therefore do not comply with requirements in food hygiene legislation (Regulation (EC) No 853/2004).
Product identification
The below frozen fish products are known to have been supplied under the 'Vaisyaa' brand:
  • Soopari
  • LeatherJack Squid rings
  • Squid tubes
  • Raw and cooked tiger prawns
  • Cooked prawns
  • Barracuda
  • Kingfish
  • Trevally
  • Tilapia fillets and whole tilapia
  • Tuna
  • Ora steaks
  • Silver Panfret
  • Parai
  • Koduna
  • Seafood mix
  • Indian mackerel
  • Milk fish
  • Emperor fish
  • Rabbit fish
  • Baby shark
  • et steak
  • Anchovies
  • Japanese threadfin
All date codes are affected.
Product weights vary and are known to be up to 1kg.
United Cater Ltd is recalling all affected products from premises supplied with them. Product recall notices are being displayed in stores that have sold the products, advising consumers of the recall and what they can do if they have purchased the affected products.
If you have purchased any of the above products, please do not consume them, but return them to the store where they were purchased from.
