Northern Ireland: Coleslaw Contaminated

Island Salads recalls Coleslaw due to presence of Listeria monocytogenes. The Coleslaw has a use by date of 20 july 2013 and is packed in 200g and 400g sizes.
The listeria monocytogenes has been found in a batch of Island Salads Coleslaw following sampling by Craigavon Borough Council. Listeria monocytogenes is more dangerous in certain groups of people, such as pregnant women, unborn ,newborn babies, anyone with reduced immunity and particularly people over 60.
The company has begun a recall of this product. Point-of-sale notices have been placed in stores. No other Island Salads products are known to be affected.If you have purchased the above product, please do not eat it and return the coleslaw to your nearest store for a full refund.
