The affected product is sold in supermarkets and other retail food outlets throughout New Zealand.

Goodman Fielder NZ Ltd is initiating a recall of one batch of Chesdale smoked flavour Cheese Slices 250g (12 single slice pack) due to the possible presence of thin clear plastic in the cheese which may pose a choking hazard. All affected product should not be consumed.

Consumers should check the date codes on the product packaging. Affected product has the batch information listed above only. If you have purchased affected product, phone 0800 368 052 for a full refund or for further information. There have been no reports of illness; however any person concerned about their health should seek medical advice. This recall does not affect any other Goodman Fielder products.
